Road out towards Hannington, then south to Deane. Joined the Wayfarer’s Way back to Basingstoke. Headed out east of Basingstoke to Wooton St Lawrence, then Oakley. Startled a deer, a few metres ahead on the singletrack, but at 21mph couldn’t keep up! 16.6 miles in total

Hmm, first ride for a while on the bike. Managed 9 miles before the light faded completely – must remember to bring lights. Also, must fix derailleur to shift to the big ring!
